Some strange and lovely images from another find at my local library's used book table.  These pictures are from a two volume set called 'The Cloisters Apocalypse: An Early 14th Century Manuscript in Facsimile.'  Volume I is the facsimile; Volume II is commentary on the enigmatic imagery.

'Rough Windows' on RADIO FREE FLAGSTAFF

The Rough Windows Radio Hour can now be heard on Radio Free Flagstaff.  Radio Free Flagstaff is an ambitious community radio station based in my hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona.  I’ll be presenting an hour of electronic music very old and very new on each Rough Windows show.

Radio Free Flagstaff is lighting up our mountain town with a variety of great locally-produced shows:  psychedelic and progressive rock on The Purple Room … Native American sounds on the Native Renaissance Show … and noise, ambient, post-rock and acid lounge on Music Between Stations.

Mary Farfisa is an Audio Wrangler. She lives on a planet called Derbyshire. Her job is to recapture vanished sounds from all over the Universe.

In this six-minute audio adventure, Mary explores a place of ancient musical rituals with her space-pony, Briscoe.
